What is the cost to use Business Broker Referral? Nothing. As a seller you will never be charged a fee by Business Broker Referral and you are under no obligation to use a referred broker. Any fees charged by a referred broker are completely negotiable between you and the broker.
Will my information be kept confidential? Yes. Nothing about you will be shared with anyone without your specific consent other than using generic location, size and industry information to identify an appropriate broker. Your identity is revealed only when you make contact with a referred broker.
Do I have to "list" or sign any agreements? No. You are under no obligation to Business Broker Referral and are not required to sign any documents.
What is the affiliation between Business Broker Referral and the broker providers? All broker providers are completely independent of Business Broker Referral. Providers have complete control over how they deliver their service and the fees they charge. Further, broker providers do not pay to register or "belong" to Business Broker Referral.
How does Business Broker Referral make money? Our income is based on the success of our broker network and does not come from subscription fees or membership dues. The exact nature of our agreements with broker providers varies depending on state laws and regulations, but we are always paid by broker providers according to our mutual success.
What happens after I send my contact information to Business Broker Referral? Business Broker Referral will search its database for qualified brokers and provide you with up to three referrals that will include contact and general background information. In the event Business Broker Referral does not have a qualified provider available, Business Broker Referral will help you find a broker at no charge or obligation. It is up to you to contact none or all of the referred brokers as they will not be given your information so as to maintain complete confidentiality.
What assurance do I have that the broker providers are competent? Business Broker Referral does not control the delivery of service by the providers and can not guarantee the quality of service, but we have made great effort to maximize the integrity of the service. Not only do our broker providers complete a thorough registration process, our business model is built around mutual success. Our seller clients pay nothing for the service and are under no obligation, so they have nothing to lose. Our providers earn status according to their success and we are compensated by how well it works for all of us.
How does Business Broker Referral choose brokers? To be eligible for referral, brokers must complete a thorough registration process (learn more). Once registered, brokers are referred based on their fit with the seller's needs and record of succes with Business Broker Referral.

How do I become a broker provider? To become a broker provider, you must complete the registration requirements which are outlined on our Broker page. There is no cost for registration.
